SkySurf is currently building an air-to-ground network of wireless antenna sites across Canada to seamlessly link airplanes to the Internet. A Wi-Fi hot spot in the cabin allows your passenger’s to connect to this high-speed link, send and receive emails, chat, browse the web, and enjoy a host of other web based services.  Furthermore, voice calling is technological available in Canada.  By 2011, airline passengers will be able to access the Internet from their personal Wi-Fi devices anywhere in the Canada through an air-to-ground link. Negotiations are currently underway for expansion into the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands.
